Not because, they planned on it. Some people go off to coege for the change, feel of something new, so do they intentionally forget about there old friends cause they want a new life ? Who knows but the one who is going through it.

When you go off to college you are In a new environment surrounded by new faces, basically forcing you to meet new people. When people go off to college they tend to other about their old friends that they left back because they have new ones who they are around everyday now. People changing when they got off to college is because of the change I'm their enivirnment an friends.
